    The Calix E5-48C (combo – integrated voice and data) are hardened, fixed form factor products that offer high bandwidth, advanced broadband services over existing copper outside plant infrastructure in a 1RU form factor.
    The E5-48C Combo chassis features 48 VDSL2/ ADSL2+ Fallback ports with integrated analog POTS ports to support high-bandwidth DSL and VoIP based POTS services.
    Similar to the E7-2 chassis, the E5-48 and E5-48C Ethernet Service Access Nodes (ESANs) have physical outside plant connectors that are routed out of the rear of the E5-48 chassis. The E5-48/E5-48C user interface and configuration parameters align with the provisioning, performance, and configuration characteristics of the E7-2 VDSL2 line card and the E3-48C.
