    Description

Please examine the quality pictures, as they support the description. I know buying online will never resemble the satisfaction of looking at a stamp in person at a show, so I am very transparent with my listings and I do not edit the integrity of my photos. Basically, I try to treat any possible buyer/collector the same way I would like to be treated in the marketplace as a fellow collector. Any known faults will be listed in the description. I use a 30 power magnifier on each stamp under good lighting to assess the condition of each item I list.
I try to price items fairly based on their eye appeal, condition, rarity, and the overall market prices of that issue. I am open to any reasonable negotiation of prices, as I will usually come down a bit on most items. The more you buy, the more you will save.
Great Britain Postage, Scott #1, Used #-Margins, Completely sound with no faults. Attractive and popular stamp with a black cancel that partly blends in to the stamp. 3 Margins are free of the design; great stamp! Competitively priced as well. Please examine photos. Thank you!
This particular collection of stamps is from an excellent, old collection from Marietta, Ohio. In fact, most of the stamps I will be listing (there are hundreds) have not been thoroughly inspected in over 50 years. Truly astonishing, as there are few old collections with this degree of quality and completeness. The gentleman I purchased a bulk of the material from had been fortunate enough to acquire the entire collection from a member of the Devol family, whose ancestors assembled the collection decades ago. Interesting enough, the Devol family was one of the first settlers into the region of Marrieta, Ohio back in the 1790s. Lots of history wrapped up into every stamp you will see.
