50 years experience in making these nets. Hoops are made from heavy wire encased in black plastic pipe. Shown is a 3' net but I do make different sizes. Two throats, crows foot and fingered, seven hoops, #15 twine. I have made nets with fiber glass hoops but I prefer making my own. These hoops are much lighter to pick up and I have never had one to break. I have had alligators bend them , but I am able to straighten them out and still fish my nets. As these nets are lighter I can fish them in water that doesn't have much of a currant and them hold up well. I have caught from 300-400 lb. of fish in these nets. I can make whatever size mesh or hoop needed. Nets are tared and ready to fish.
