This listing is for the black beret hat worn by Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars
heavily
during the 1989-90 Motley Crue Dr. Feelgood era. Mick wore this beret in the "
Without You" and "Don't Go Away Mad, Just Go Away" videos
, and
on tour with the Crue
. You can see 1000s of photos of him wearing this beret online, in magazines, in videos, etc. I have posted some photos of him wearing. I have many more photos of him wearing as well.
The beret is in worn condition. The hat has held up very well over the years. It would look great framed. The beret comes with 3 pins that were attached to the hat. The 1st pin is very
recognizable. It is a large Dr. Feelgood logo pin. You can clearly see him wearing the same pin in the "Without You" video. The 2nd pin included says "National Rifle Association of America Life Member". I know that Mick was very active with the NRA around this time. I have documentation to support that. The 3rd pin is a "Harley Owner's Group" pin in reference to Harley Davidson. I know that Mick was very into Harleys at that time. In fact, I owned his 1976 Harley. This is probably 1 of Mick's most well-known articles of clothing because he wore this at the height of Motley Crue's stardom and he wore it constantly. Own a piece of Rock N' Roll history.
